The Villa
THE VILLA:
The 400m2 Villa is an up-market self
catering establishment with its sea-facing boundary a mere 7m from the beach.
The guesthouse offers unobstructed sea and mountain views, with a breathtaking
view of Table Mountain in the distance, and the Helderberg mountain range
directly across the Bay from our patio. The rear, southern boundary of the
Villa and the Gordon’s Bay Village is nestled in the crook of the surrounding
Kogelberg mountain range with its world famous Kogelberg biosphere, which
offers spectacular trails for nature lovers, all within walking distance from
our front door.
The Villa offers 3 large, double en-suite
bedrooms, with a Victorian bath in the main bathroom, whilst the 2 and 3
bedrooms have showers.
The open-plan gourmet kitchen has an
adjacent scullery. The specially allocated braai / barbeque area is next to the
kitchen. From the kitchen our guests enter the dining room with its exceptional
art-décor 6-seater dining room table. From here, the open-plan lounge, with its
stunning sea-views, the comfortable furniture-mix of antique and modern, with rare
art on our walls, the specially selected Persian rugs covering the antique
timber floors, create memories of a special place for our ever returning guests.
Large French doors in the lounge and main bedroom
open onto a 90m2 patio, which creates the illusion of the Villa cantilevering
towards the ocean. Serving cocktails whilst watching the sunset behind Table
Mountain becomes part of an unforgettable holiday experience.
We offer complimentary DSTV as well as
Wifi. Parking is available in front of the Villa.
The Simplex
THE APARTMENT:
The 37m2 Apartment accommodates 2 adults in
the bedroom, with a divan in the open-plan lounge/ kitchen area for an
additional guest. Adjacent to the bedroom is a shower, whilst a separate door
leads to the toilet and hand basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with a
double door fridge, a 3-plate stove / oven and a microwave oven.
The lounge leads to a timber balcony with a
coffee table and garden chairs, shaded by a large Jacaranda tree. Uninterrupted
views of False Bay and the magnificent surrounding mountain ranges are visible
from every corner of this apartment. In addition the unit offers complimentary
Wifi and a DSTV (hospitality program). Air-conditioning is available on
request. The barbeque area is situated in a small garden next to the front
door, under the Jacaranda tree. On
request we accommodate small ( no bigger than 10kg) fully-house-trained
doggies.
The entrance to the unit is via a secure
gate. Maximum security is provided for our guests and their vehicles.
Parking is available in front of the unit.
